Clutha Classic..

This is a great trip for everyone - even first timers! Take in the awesome views and get to run some thrilling Grade 2 rapids. This trip offers 23 Km of spectacular scenery, mountain views and crystal clear rivers. We provide the lunch. Give yourself a day to remember on this awesome stretch of river. Minimum age is 14 years. Duration: 8-9hrs approx. Price: $ $195 p.p.
Grandview.
Departure time @ 8:30am & 2:00pm
This river trip goes from the Outlet of Lake Wanaka to the Poplars and is 13kms of gently winding, mainly flat river. People can choose to use standard or sit upon kayaks. Minimum age is 8 years. Duration: 4 1/2 hours return Price:$450 Price includes either 2 Children, 2 Adults or 3 Children, 1 Adult.

WATER CONFIDENCE IS ESSENTIAL. No previous kayaking experience is required for all the trips.

All departures are accompanied by one guide per six kayakers. Each trip includes necessary tuition appropriate to river conditions. Safety equipment, clothing and kayak are included with each trip. Kayak trips include transport to and from Wanaka to selected rivers. Alpine Kayak Guides reserves the right to select the daily river venue, taking into account weather, river conditions, client ability and numbers .
